Wix.com Reports Q3 Earnings: Net Loss Amid Revenue Growth
Wix.com delivered a mixed third-quarter performance, swinging to a net loss of $0.59 million ($0.01 per share) from a $26.8 million profit in the prior-year period. The reversal stemmed largely from a fourfold increase in income tax expenses to $12.3 million.
Revenue growth provided a bright spot, climbing 13.6% year-over-year to $505.2 million—surpassing analyst expectations of $502 million. Adjusted earnings of $1.68 per share also beat consensus estimates by 13%.
The website builder anticipates continued momentum, guiding for Q4 revenue between $521-$531 million representing 13-15% annual growth. BofA Securities maintained its Buy rating despite trimming the price target from $210 to $170, citing elevated marketing investments.
